EDUCATION ⬇

Engaging with our public is at the heart of what The Outcry Ensemble does.

Making the concert experience immersive, informative and inspiring is what we are always striving for and, just like our pre-concert talks, that puts Education at the heart of what we do.

We are in regular contact with both Music Colleges and local schools and have had many students attend our rehearsals and engage with our players.

What are the benefits?

Interactive: We are offering an interactive approach to engaging with this music, while also relating it to the syllabus the students are currently studying.

Educational: Adding to the student’s wider listening, which is always encouraged by exam boards.

Aspirational: The opportunity to hear a professional orchestra of players not much older than the students: the average age of the orchestra is 27 years old, allowing the students to relate and see themselves in the orchestra.

Inspirational: Potential to interact with young professional players, offering inspiration of what life as a working musician can be.
